El TEPJF crea la Defensoría pública electoral para las mujeres
Tim Cook calificó como escalofriante la petición, ya que legalmente podrían pedir que desarrollen un software para acceder a información personal de los usuarios.
QUERÉTARO, Qro., 17 de febrero de 2016.- El director ejecutivo de Apple, Tim Cook, señaló que la empresa apelará la orden de un juez de California para desbloquear el iPhone de uno de los terroristas que participaron en el ataque de San Bernardino en California informa el sitio techcrunch.com.
Las autoridades quieren que Apple desarrolle un software que, al cargarse en el dispositivo, les ayude a romper el código de acceso del aparato. Esto debido a que las medidas de seguridad de Apple incluyen la función de auto-borrar al ingresar el código erróneamente 10 veces.
En una carta dirigida a los clientes de Apple, Cook señaló que si bien respeta al FBI y cree que sus intenciones son buenas, éstos les piden crear un nuevo software para iPhone que podría desbloquear cualquier dispositivo.
«Si bien el gobierno argumenta que sería de uso limitado, la realidad es que no hay manera de garantizarlo».
Cook también calificó como escalofriante la petición ya que si el gobierno se vale de las leyes para facilitar el desbloqueo de cualquier Iphone, podría exigir a Apple que construya un software para interceptar mensajes, acceder a información personal o financiera, rastrear al usuario e incluso activar la cámara o micrófono sin conocimiento del usuario.
